A number of designers were working with Brutalist Designs in the early 70's -80"s. Adrian Pearsall was inspired by Artist and furniture maker, Paul Evans. While Evans uses cast bronze and metal finishes. Adrian Pearsall used a resin to create the look of bronze and to lighten the furniture in both weight and cost to the consumer.
These chairs are in Fantastic shape. We added hidden swivels underneath for versatility. and we added new foam and cushioning and covered them in Faux Mink fabric. Would be perfect in a lounge or bar area, or just for the beauty of them.
The resin surrounds varies in dark gold to brown to achieve the look of bronze. See less
