Designer, Pepe Mendoza, produced limited editions of furniture pieces and decorative objects in Mexico City through the 50’s and 60’s. Mendoza’s pieces incorporate a “cloisonné type technique”, often using materials such as crushed turquoise, ceramic and enamel inlays, and brass work with a Pre-Columbian motif. His work is highly sought after and has been collected by institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
